RECON — Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 6, 2026 · Operated from Alberta, Canada

RECON ("the app", "we", "us") is a personal health and supplement tracking app. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices. RECON is for education and personal record-keeping only; it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and does not recommend or sell any compound, dose, or supplement.

Information we collect

How we use it

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising. Health data obtained from Apple Health/Health Connect is used only to display your own information inside the app and is never used for marketing or shared with third parties for their own purposes.

Where your data is stored

Your data is stored in our database hosted by Supabase, protected by row-level security so that each account can access only its own records. Authentication and storage are provided by Supabase; app delivery and updates by Expo (EAS). These providers process data on our behalf.

Your choices and rights

As an Alberta, Canada operation, we handle personal information in line with Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA and Alberta's PIPA). You may contact us about your information using the details below.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, your records are removed from our active database.

Children

RECON is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Security

We use industry-standard measures including encrypted transport (HTTPS) and per-user row-level security. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above.
